QuestionBest class for crit shockwave totem 2.2. In the end you are going to have 2 bonus power charges at the cost of spell damage, crit chance and defences.
- The more hits the shiki has the better ATK% becomes as well (so it makes more sense for Yoto Hime than Ryomen for instance). This basically means atk% wins crit dmg% against Kirins and Totem bosses right now. Everywhere else crit damage would result in better average damage done even for seductress users.
- For bursting dps I would go full ham on ES if I were good on threat, tho one Windfury triple crit could put you high up there, so watch out! 😄 I usually go for rank 1 ES for interrupts and Frost Shock max rank for dmg. 1st prio on bosses would be Totem Twisting and Auto attack if you got nightfall.
- Increased Critical Damage Support Support Icon: c Mana Multiplier: 130% Requires Level 18 Supports any skill that hits enemies. Per 1% Quality: Supported Skills have +0.75% to Critical Strike Multiplier Supported Skills have +(75-103)% to Critical Strike Multiplier This is a Support Gem. - Jun 07, 2019 Thunderous Strike is finally good now thanks to a recent update and so I decided to build around the MI Rifle that gives it Crit damage. Since my focus was crit damage I use Hungering Void inspired by jajaja’s old build. Screenshot (with Inquisitor Seal, Deadly Aim and Hungering Void).
- Look for life and damage stats such as Totem damage, crit multi, lightning damage, area damage etc. Drop totems, run fast, stay underlevelled for your zone. Not much more to say. I will stress something for new players or slower players, your leveling speed through acts 1-10 has very little to do with how many monsters you kill.

1. Gameplay
Totems provide a specific playstyle. You are summoning Totems which deal the damage for you, while focusing on supporting them with Auras, applying Curses, and staying alive. This playing a Totem character may not seem like the most exciting thing, it surely is one of the most beginner and budget-friendly type of builds. If you plan to play Special Event League or participate in a race, Totems are nearly always a viable choice.
Our Hierophant build focuses on defenses, which will allow you to farm high Tier maps and possibly end-game Bosses with comfort. The hybrid version gives you approximately 4,500 Life and 2,000 Energy Shield with Mind over Matter and additional Damage reduction from Hierophant's Ascendancy Passives.

3. Leveling tips
Leveling with Totems is very easy. They deal very high damage, allowing you to play safe from a more significant range, and also tank some of the damage. Regarding recommended gear, you should mainly focus on Mana Regeneration, Spell Damage, and Movement Speed bonuses, while all the other items can be random Rares with Life and Elemental Resistances (you don't precisely focus stats related to Critical Strikes and Energy Shield early on).

Holy Flame Totem is a reworked version of old school Flame Totem skill gem, with plenty of changes made to it. New version fires 3 projectiles instead of one, creates Consecrated Ground around the totem, which makes you immune to Curses and converts Physical Damage to Fire, which combined with Avatar of Fire provides full Physical and half of other elements conversion to Fire, which scales insanely well with all additional Damage to Spells sources. This build has great clear speed as well as single-target damage and great survivability, thanks to Totems taking most of the incoming damage.

1. Gameplay
Hierophant Ascendancy is the best choice for this build - not only provides a lot of Mana that works really good with Mind over Matter but also grants Power and Endurance Charges generation. Pursuit of Faith and Ritual Awakening grants insane damage for Totems and allows us to summon an additional Totem.
This build has great survivability thanks to High Life and using Mind over Matter, which converts Damage to be taken from Mana instead of Life. As for the gameplay, you place your totems and watch them burn all enemies with holy fire. This build is also recommended as a League Starter because it requires no unique items to farm even Red Maps with ease. With few investments, it's possible to kill all the Guardians and the Shaper himself.
