Dialogic® 1000 Media Gateway Series by Sangoma Overview. The Dialogic® 1000 Media Gateway Series by Sangoma is the ideal solution for small to medium enterprises that desire a new way to enhance their legacy PBX equipment with new VoIP access and applications.

The Dialogic 2000 Media Gateway Series (DMG2000 Gateway) is set of turnkey appliances that seamlessly merges traditional PSTN technology with IP networks. These economical gateways help consolidate typically separate voice and data networks and provide new and differentiated communication services. Without making radical, disruptive, and expensive upgrades to existing PBX equipment, service providers and enterprises can realize the benefits of a converged voice and data network with these gateways.

The DMG2000 Gateways can be installed and configured “plug and play,” reducing the total cost of ownership. Operations, Administration, and Maintenance (OA&M) features, such as network alarm events and remote management enabled by a user-friendly web interface, along with advanced diagnostics and administration tools, make the installation and maintenance of these appliances quick and easy.

The cost of the DMG2000 Gateways makes them well suited for enterprises interested in deploying a variety of applications such as PBX extension, remote office connectivity, long-distance consolidation, call centers, and IP media servers. Available in a 19-inch standard rack mountable chassis, these appliances are also beneficial for service providers offering hosted IP-PBX, IP Centrex, and enhanced messaging servers.

Overview

The Dialogic 1000 Media Gateway Series (DMG1000 Gateways) allows for a well-planned, phased migration to an IP network, making the gateways a smart solution for enterprises looking to enhance their legacy PBX equipment with new VoIP access and applications. Connected between a PBX or a digital handset and a LAN or WAN, the DMG1000 Gateways convert proprietary digital PBX messages into a format suitable for transmission over standard IP networks.

Dialogic Dmg1000

The DMG1000 Gateways provide a simple, cost-effective transition to voice and data convergence for enterprises with PBXs. Connected externally, they offer an IP solution that works with current legacy equipment. They support SIP-based applications as well as T.38 for fax transmissions over IP (FoIP).

The DMG1000 Gateways can be used to connect IP telephones to a legacy PBX, integrate network-hosted applications with the PBX, extend the PBX to branch offices, and integrate various voice and call processing capabilities in an enterprise LAN or WAN environment. Using exclusive PBX network interfaces (emulating), these media gateway appliances provide exceptional IP to PBX integration capabilities to protect an investment in legacy telecom equipment.
